lyrics
My eyes can now only discern a pale blur of mourning frowns
These faceless, damned bodies surround me and they're howling in an incomprehensible static
Static. Static.
Their rhythmic exhales emit a rolling smoke....
Their rhythmic exhales emit a rolling smoke through the irreversible cold
Cold, cold, cold, cold, irreversible cold.
A blooming notion of tenderness grows over me as their eyes gradually emit the color of a dying sun
I am clearly lost. This sensation of dread intertwined. I am clearly lost.
This sensation of dread intertwined in a mask of lucidity.

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch. First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
