lyrics
In the corner of this room rests my fragile vessel of serenity
A fleeting sense of contentment and tranquility confined within
If there was an existence of god, this vehemently intends to be the closest thing to it
At intervals, it's glimmers in a crystalline design, or glows in a dismal amber
My beacon, a guide to summoning lesser demons
My beacon, a guide to summoning lesser demons
Enraptured by its daunting magic
At intervals, it's glimmers in a crystalline design, or glows in a dismal amber
Enraptured by its daunting magic

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch. First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
