lyrics
My eyes are nothing, nothing but empty slots that fixated over the churning suspended moon.
Hesitation stalls over the defaced rim of the world.
A growth of slant, black shadows stumbled nearer.
Against this frigid landscape, they dwindle and diminish
My veins buried within the neck now stand akin tightened ropes.
The stenciled men smile amongst the growing filth and obscurity
As a marching malignancy, harvesting a circus of scalped impurities
Breathless vessels now hang as shrouded monuments.
Breathless vessels now hang as shrouded monuments.
They admire their new-found creations as they are perched frozen atop their compliant beasts
An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch. First WTF was google music actually throwing something good into my feed.
Second WTF was everything every goddamn member of this band does. This and the previous album have been on repeat for weeks. All other music tastes like diet water. Help. Gruso
never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
